We’ll unpack where self-talk comes from, why it often turns critical, and how you can shift toward a more compassionate inner dialogue without pressure or toxic positivity. You’ll leave with practical tools, gentle awareness practices, and simple ways to build real, steady confidence in a way that feels safe, grounded, and authentic to you.

Therapy Talks are relaxed, low-pressure info nights where big mental health topics become bite-sized, human conversations. Come as you are, connect with others, and leave feeling a little more informed and a little less alone.

Each session is guided by a mental health professional who brings both clinical expertise and lived experience into the room. These talks blend practical tools, everyday strategies, and real personal insight, bridging evidence-based knowledge with genuine human connection.

This isn't a lecture. It's a conversation. Using an anonymous engagement platform, you're invited to ask questions, reflect, and participate in whatever way feels right for you. Whether you submit a question anonymously, speak up in person, or simply sit and listen, your presence matters. This experience is yours to shape. No pressure. No expectations. In a world full of screens and surface-level interactions, Therapy Talks brings people together face to face and heart to heart. It's a reminder that healing often begins in shared spaces, through listening, learning, and showing up for one another. At Therapy Talks, you’ll be learning and healing in good company.

Come at 6:00 for light refreshments

Arrive gently on your own time, settle into your spot and enjoy light refreshments.

6:30 to 8:30 pm Therapy Talks

Our exploration of the topic will begin. Throughout the evening, you can participate in optional anonymous Slido polls and questions to share what’s on your heart.

$20 early bird pricing, $25 regular pricing

Our goal with Therapy Talks is to bring meaningful mental health programming to the Interlake in a way that's affordable and accessible for everyone. We work hard to keep costs low so these talks can be within reach. If you would like to be a part of helping Therapy Talks grow, you're welcome to contribute a little extra at your own discretion. Every bit helps us bring more of this care to the community.
