Erica Hildebrand, RTC, CCPCP.R
Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Professional Counselling Practitioner

Hi, I'm Erica! Therapist, mom, business owner, and a firm believer that most people aren’t “broken,” they’re just overwhelmed, worn down, or carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone. I work with adults who are feeling anxious, emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves or others, or navigating big life transitions. That might look like prenatal or postpartum anxiety or depression, long-standing worry that never quite shuts off, relationship patterns that keep repeating, loss of a loved one or the quiet grief and identity shifts that come with aging and laterlife changes. Many of the people I work with are high functioning on the outside and exhausted on the inside.
My approach is relational, gentle, and honest. I care deeply about understanding where your patterns came from, your attachment style, your nervous system, the hurts that shaped you. All while also helping you build real, practical tools to feel steadier and more like yourself again. We go at a pace that feels safe, grounded, and respectful of your story. No pushing. No fixing. Just good, meaningful work.

I’m especially drawn to working with people who’ve experienced deep emotional pain and are ready to move toward healing, even if they’re not quite sure what that looks like yet. You don’t need to have it all figured out to start. You just need to show up.

At Stonewall Counselling Center, my hope is that you feel welcomed, seen, and genuinely cared for - exactly as you are. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical. It can feel like a steady place to land. If you’re feeling anxious, worn thin, or simply ready for something to shift, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you

I’m a mom to three daughters, married to my husband, and the owner of a counselling practice I care deeply about. Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me cooking something cozy, listening to true crime podcasts, or dreaming about our next trip. I’m always working toward a better balance between work and home life. Not perfectly, but honestly. And truly, I couldn’t imagine a life that fits me better.
